TDSB – Essential Skills Upgrading
Essential Skills Upgrading is a non-credit, adult program that helps clients improve their reading, writing, and math skills, as well as their employability and workplace skills. The program is for individuals who:
- Speak English
- Want to upgrade their skills to prepare for high school, college, apprenticeship or certificate programs or employment
- Are goal-oriented and want to gain self-confidence
The program is available in many locations across the city and runs September to June, Monday to Friday on a full-time or part-time basis, during the day or in the evening.
Toronto District School Board Essential Skills Upgrading conducts assessments monthly at The Storefront on the 3rd Thursday of the Month from 9:30AM – 12:00PM. Drop-in, or even better, call The Storefront at 416-208-9889 to book a 1 to 1 assessment.
