WoodGreen Community Services

WoodGreen is celebrating its 80th anniversary!  Congratulations WoodGreen!

Woodgreen Community Services has 36 different locations throughout the city and supports 37,000 community members on a yearly basis. They offer a great variety of services and supports for community members such as children and youth programs, employment supports, financial empowerment, mental health and addiction programs, housing, settlement services, seniors programs, and developmental services.

WoodGreen Community Services staff visit The Storefront on Mondays from 10 am to 4 pm. The program that they offer at The Storefront is Financial Empowerment Services. Community members who access this program can get help with completing financial paperwork and applications, such as

  • OAS – Old Age Security
  • CPP – Canada Pension Plan
  • GIS – Guaranteed Income Supplement
  • ODB – Ontario Drug Benefit Seniors Copay
  • Income Tax Returns
  • CRA issues,
  • debt and money management issues,
  • referrals to other resources.
