We acknowledge the Anishinabek (Ojibway) Mashkegowick, (Cree) and Hodenashoone (Mohawk confederacy) as the guardians and traditional keepers of the land on which the people of East Scarborough live work and play.
We recognize the Mississaugas of New Credit First Nation as the current holders of these traditional territories. We at The Storefront recognize the injustice of colonization and, in all our work, strive for equity and justice for all people.

Over the years, The Storefront has supported hundreds of people to contribute to the wellbeing of Kingston Galloway/Orton Park (KGO) – we want to share with you how we did it. The Little Community that Could by Cathy Mann offers glimpse into where we put our energies as we developed The Storefront and our approach to community work (the Connected Community Approach). Our Theory of Change explores in detail how we believe The Storefront affects meaningful community. Further information on the Connected Community Approach and how it works can be found here
